Semi-Sweet Chocolate Geometric Nails for Valentine’s Day

image

Last Valentine’s Day design! Inspired by my Too Faced Chocolate Bar Eye Shadow Palette, this design can actually be worn pretty much any time of the year but I think it looks very sweet and romantic for Valentine’s Day. Pastel pink, light brown/beige and white make a great combination for these semi-sweet chocolate nails. I hope you like this! It is very easy to do. Here are the steps to create this design:

  1. Start by painting all your nails white.
  2. Next use your pink nail polish and paint only half of your nail at an angle. Try to make the line as straight as possible.
  3. Take your brown or beige color and apply it towards the tips of your nails. Make any necessary touch-ups using a white nail polish to smooth out the lines. If needed, make any touch-ups with your pink nail polish.

That’s it! Super easy, right? Feel free to change up the colors to make your own combination!

Valentine’s Day Pink Gradient Stud Glam Nails!

image

Here’s another design for Valentine’s Day! I didn’t do a video tutorial on this design but it is pretty easy to do! Since many of my nail designs have been purple lately, I decided to do a pink look for Valentine’s Day. To get this gradient effect I used white, light pink and fuchsia nail polishes. Here are the steps on how to get this look:

1. Take a makeup sponge and dab each of your 3 nail polishes in a row.

2. Press the sponge onto your nail a few times to get the gradient look and blended lines.

3. Repeat steps 1 & 2 again for a second coat on each of your nails.

4. Apply a top coat to smooth out the gradient lines even more.

5. While the top coat is still wet, Dip a toothpick in a little bit of clear nail polish and grab a gold stud.

6. Press the gold stud onto your nail, pressing down on it for a few seconds.

7. Finally apply another coat of your top coat to seal in the stud.

And you’re done! It’s pretty simple to do and has a really cool major glam look!

Love is in the Air

This week’s nail design is a simple, low-key Valentine’s Day design. It’s a bit different than other Valentine designs you’ll see – no red or pink overloaded with hearts. Instead I opted for a perfect purple, Essie’s Play Date. Some stripes, polka dots, and a simple heart make the nails pop. I also used a stamper on my thumb nail for some added detail. Hope you like!
